I think that your drawings are very good and that you show shadows and darker areas very well. My suggestion is to try different thicknesses of pen so that everything is not so bold.
Your drawings are great, but you and I both are having problems with drawing straight lines where they need to be. Not having straight lines threw the perspective of the bookshelf off, it looks as if it is leaning. As far as your shading you're getting there I understand the depth of the closet.
